1. What are my User ID and Password? Top
A valid 'User ID and Password' are required in order to access Merchant Direct.
Passwords are case-sensitive and MUST be entered into Merchant Direct exactly as provided to you.

A valid User ID contains 5-16 characters and a valid password contains 8-32 characters.

Note: Your User ID and password are confidential and should not be shared with other users.

2. Sign In - First time users or after your password has been reset (Account Locked) Top
Your account will be locked after three unsuccessful attempts at signing in. Please refer to the section "I forgot my password. What do I do?" for additional details.

Note: For Moneris employees, please skip steps 3 and 6.

Step 1.
On the "Sign In" page, enter your User ID and Password.
Step 2.
Click the Sign In button.
Step 3.
After reading the "Terms of Use" Agreement, click the I Agree button.
Step 4.
On the "Change Password" page, enter a new password in the "New password" field.
Step 5.
To confirm your new password, enter the password again in "New Password Again" field and click the Submit button.
Step 6.
Complete the "Personal Verification Question Entry Form".
Please remember this information, as it is only accessible to you. These questions will be asked to verify your identity should you forget your password.
Step 7.
Click the Submit button.

3. How do I sign in? Top
Step 1.
On the "Sign In" page, enter your User ID and Password.
Step 2.
Click the Sign In button.

4. How do I change my password? Top
Step 1.
On the "Sign In" page, enter your User ID and Password.
Step 2.
Click the Change Password button.
Step 3.
Enter a new password in the "New password" field.
Step 4.
To confirm your new password, enter the new password again in the "New password again" field.
Step 5.
Click the Submit button.

5. I forgot my password. What do I do? Top
You can use the Forgot Password? button when:
    a)   You have forgotten your password.
    b)   Your account has been locked after three unsuccessful attempts to sign in.
Step 1.
Click the Forgot Password? button.
Step 2.
You need to provide the answers to your Personal Verification Questions that you completed during your first sign in.
Step 3.
If you have successfully answered your Personal Verification Questions, you will be prompted to change your password. Once completed, you will automatically be signed into Merchant Direct.
Step 4.
If you cannot remember the correct answers after three attempts, please contact the Merchant Direct Service Centre at 1-866-319-7450 for assistance

Sign in Failed…Please try again Check to ensure you have typed in your User ID correctly. Your User ID was emailed to you along with your password when you were first registered in the Merchant Direct program.
User Password is locked out Click the Forgot Password? button and complete the Personal Verification Questions. When you have successfully completed the Personal Verification Questions, you will be prompted to change your password.

If you cannot remember the correct answers after three attempts, please contact the Merchant Direct Service Centre for assistance. (1-866-319-7450)

Passwords must not be shared and should be considered confidential.
Invalid Password entered Check to ensure you have typed your password correctly Your account will be locked after three failed attempts.
